ABOUT ME

ABOUT ME

I live in Utah with my husband and our five kids. We’re a beautifully blended family. My journey into birth work began with my own birth story. I gave birth unmedicated in a hospital in Hawaii, but I labored at home for nearly all of it, and it was there that I felt emotionally and physically alone. That experience is what led me to become a doula. I never wanted another woman to feel that alone during the biggest moment of her life. In that experience, I discovered something powerful: our bodies were made to give birth. They know exactly what to do. That realization changed everything for me, and it’s what motivated me to help other women feel loved, supported, and empowered through their own births.

Since then, I’ve been passionate about supporting women through pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. Every time a woman welcomes me into her birth space, I consider it an honor. It is sacred ground, and I don’t take that trust lightly.

My goal is simple: to hold you, physically and emotionally, through this incredibly special time. Birth is unpredictable, but I want to be someone you can lean on no matter what path it takes.

I believe birth is about more than welcoming your baby into the world. You are also born that day, forever changed. My hope is to bring peace, understanding, solace, and strength into your birth, and help you carry those feelings with you long after. I believe that giving birth is one of the most sacred things we can do as women, second only to raising and mothering our children.

When women feel safe and supported in labor, they’re better able to fulfill their birth dreams. That’s why I care deeply about helping you feel educated and confident to make the decisions that are right for you and your baby. Whether you dream of an unmedicated birth like mine or choose to get the epidural, whether you plan a hospital birth or a home birth, I will be right there beside you, offering the same love, support, and care every step of the way. However your baby is born is incredible, and I will celebrate that with you.

But beyond being your doula, I want to have a genuine friendship with you. I want to get to know you, understand why you care about the things you do, and know what you truly want from your birth experience. I want to help you feel prepared and ready, so you feel confident in your decisions and preferences. My hope is to not just support you through birth, but to be someone you can trust and lean on along the way.

A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS

Traveling

I love going to new places and learning about different customs and cultures. Trying new foods and meeting new people.

One of my favorite places i’ve been is Thailand, where I got to go to an elephant sanctuary. We took a mud bath with the elephants and then played in a nearby waterfall to rinse it all off. Elephants are the sweetest creatures. Very interactive and friendly. Gentle giants.

Did you know that elephants have the longest gestation period of all living mammals?

22 Months! Nearly two YEARS of being pregnant! So. amazing.

SPENDING TIME WITH MY family

Whether it’s exploring hand in hand or simply cuddling up on the couch, I love every moment with my little family.

We love to cook, watch movies together, go shopping, and discover new places together.

My husband makes me laugh like no one else can and is my best friend and partner in crime. We enjoy taking our dog Berry on long walks & hikes.

Being outside

I love exercising and moving my body. Hiking, swimming in the ocean, walks, camping, are just a few of my favs!
